Cokesbury Church

It’s finally here! Super Sale set-up begins this Sunday after our 10:45 service. Volunteers are needed all week from 9am-5pm for sorting, organizing and placing items in various departments throughout the church. We also still need volunteers on Saturday from 7am-1pm for the sale itself. If you need more information, contact Frances Wilkinson at 432-9788. If you have even just one free hour, stop by the church to help out – what a fun and meaningful week this is – we are excited!

Pinwheels for Child Abuse Prevention

Last Chance for Pinwheels!

As we close out the month of April today, let’s finish strong in our support of Gulf Coast Kid’s House and Child Abuse Prevention Month! Stop by the Atrium and for a small donation you can plant a pinwheel in our garden out front. All proceeds go toward the “Blue to Better” campaign for Gulf Coast Kid’s House.

The Prayers of Jesus

It’s not too late to join us as we look at the prayers of Jesus. The class will meet at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, May 3, in room 621. Studying these prayers remind us of the personal and profound nature of God’s love for His people, realize the magnitude of Jesus’ sacrifice, and help us prayerfully communicate with God. The text for the class is Shane Stanford’s book, “What the Prayers of Jesus Tell Us About the Heart of God.” For more information, contact Pastor Keith

Cokesbury Cookbook

Cokesbury United Methodist Women are publishing a cookbook to honor our 60th anniversary. Recipes will be collected through the month of May. Please submit to or to the UMW mailbox at our 9th Avenue campus. Thank you for sharing your favorite recipes with our Cokesbury family!

Hats for Mother’s Day

All women of the church are invited to wear a hat on Sunday, May 14th, as we honor all the women who have loved us, nurtured us, and challenged us to be the people God has called us to be! May 14th will be a wonderful day to celebrate, so let’s see some creative and fun hats for the occasion!
