Young Adult Life Group
Cokesbury has a very active Young Adult Ministry
Join us Wednesday evenings for dinner and life group! We meet in Room 621 for dinner each week at 5:00pm, (unless there is a church-wide dinner at Asbury Place – on those Wednesdays we’ll be at Asbury). We worship together at 6:00 in the sanctuary during the Abide service, and then we return to Room 621 at 6:30 for time to grow in our faith, study the Bible, and spend time supporting and encouraging each other.
We are in the process of getting together a group for young women, and we are also exploring the possibilities of starting college-age life group.
Cokesbury Young Adults also plan several outings a quarter.
For any questions on any young adult activities contact Rev. Ashley Wilkinson Meyer at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (850)476-5818.
Because we believe that Jesus taught us to care for His children and youth, we commit Cokesbury to the practice of safe supervision. Our Safe Sanctuary policy sets standards for the supervision of the children, youth, and vulnerable adults in our care. Thus, in covenant with all United Methodist congregations, we adopt policies for the prevention of neglect and abuse. Therefore, as Christian communities of faith and United Methodist congregations, we pledge to conduct the ministry of the gospel in ways that assure the safety and spiritual growth of all children, youth, and vulnerable adults and those who minister to them.
